T-Pain has joked.
A well known R&B Star Akon at the American Music Awards ceremony, which was taken place in Los Angeles, has received the award as the best soul and r&b singer of 2007 year. Though he has overtaken his "colleagues on a weapon" Ne-Yo and T-Pain, the guy has admitted the public: "I think, that T-Pain deserves this premium more, than I". "Its seriously, if you knew how cool this guy works, - has told Akon, stopping after T-Pain has touched with a hand of a figurine which hold the winner in his hands. "I'm going to go forward and to take this award as there is no empty seat in no one Akon room", - jokingly added T-Pain. - "He has enough awards, thus, I intend to grow and allow him to leave now from a stage with this award, and then I shall bring it home. I appreciate it". |
The Awards are growing.
Less than a year was required to British pop-singer Mika to pass a way from obscurity to the world glory. Has realised the first album "Life In Cartoon Motion" in February 2007, the musician is named the Best-selling New Artist of the year at ceremony World Music Awards which is taken place on November, 4th in Monaco.
The 24-years musician became the protagonist of the evening, having received in total four awards. Besides the above-stated category, Mika became the winner in such nominations as the Best-selling Male Entertainer, Best-selling Pop/rock Artis and the Best-selling British Artist.
In the "female" category, a victory has gained Avril Lavigne, she has been named the Best-selling Canadian Artist. The title Entertainer of the Year and in addition the Best-selling Pop Female Artist - has received Rihanna.

Strict Japanese.
The American rockers Velvet Revolver have been compelled to cancel planned tour across Japan on the end of November as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this strict country has refused to issue visas to musicians. It happens without any explanation of the reasons.
The tour, during which musicians planned to visit Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoua and Yokohama, should begin on November, 26th. Now the dates of these performances "are frozen". Now the management of the group has made the repeated reference to immigration service of Japan in hope to achieve the positive answer. "We would like to apologize before our Japanese fans that we will not manage to win back the promised concerts in time, - is spoken in the application of group. - We do not understand, why we were refused to come in your country. Two years ago we came to Japan and all has passed perfectly and that experience was unforgettable. We love Japan and would like to return here ".
Maybe the matter is in the name of the new group album "Libertad"? That means from Spanish "freedom". Maybe guys should name it somehow hieroglyphic?!... |
